This white wine is unique and exclusive in Spain! It will surprise you with respect to any other Rioja white.
It comes from a few lapses of Viña Barracallo de Chenin Blanc, the quintessential French white variety from the Loire Valley, planted with experimental permission in 1985.
Limited production of 900 bottles.
Variety: 100% Chenin Blanc
Winemaking: Barrel fermented with its lees at a low temperature with regular batonnage.
Ageing: 6 months in new French oak barrels of 225l. Later, it rests 10 months in concrete before bottling.
Tasting: Straw yellow colour, a sweet and fruity smell with an essence of ripe pear, honey and compote. Dry, intense, unctuous and with a long persistence.
Alcohol Level: 14,3º Vol
