RULEI PHILOSOPHY

By cultivating the vineyard considering its origin, its evolution, its features and in particular its production.

By adopting a sustainable viticulture in order to respect the biodiversity and the natural resources.

By elaborating only the best vintages, by valuing the maturation of each variety and also by selecting meticulously the grapes and finally by being very careful with grapes during the transport.

The result: wines with unexpected sensations and a unique identity.

You will be surprised that is a Rioja!

Corona Imperial Británica

WHAT IS RULEI?

It is the protagonist of a medieval history often forgotten.

It’s a ruby, that, according to the legend, has been removed from the crown of the virgin of the Santa Maria la Real cathedral in Najera, after the battle of 1367, by the “Black Prince”, Edward of Lancaster, Prince of Gales, after the non-payment for his services to the King Pedro I “The Cruel” of Castilla.

Since 1838, the Rulei is embedded in the centre of the Imperial Crown of the Britannic Estate, forged for the Queen Victoria.

This precious stone is very inspiriting with its colour and its variety of tones, sensations that we try to communicate through our wines, result of our hard work.
